Makeup!

I have mixed feelings about the "Campaign for Real Beauty" being conducted by Unilever's Dove brand. Certainly they're doing some good—and anything that Linda Ellerbee endorses can't be all evil. On the other hand, it's still all corporate promotion by an outfit that sells, among many other things, "firming cream." Still, this movie about how our perception of beauty has been skewed is a good contribution to society on their part.

I decided today. I was standing in front of the elevator, thinking, there should be a button for Out. And for Long Gone, and for Home, and for The Corner Bar, and for The Ball Game, and many many more. I need a Wonkavator. And it doesn't even have to be made of glass.
