In a post that explains why the Russians are doing something better than we are, IOZ refers to Barack Obama as "The Elect". I love it.

In the end, best-case scenario, we have a much-reduced domestic auto industry slowly repaying loans at extremely favorable interest rates. Lemme repeat, for the cheap seats: that's the best case scenario. I mean, fuck Larry Summers. Why not just put Terry Gilliam at Treasury?

Tons of stars in here: Margaret Cho, Kathy Najimi, John C. Reilly; I am still waiting for the Allison Janney role that I don't like. And for everyone who moans about how musicals (film and stage both) are dying, at least we still have the performers we need if the format ever revives: Neil Patrick Harris is one of the best musical actors around today (previous evidence here).
